Why this site exists

Many gold IRA “reviews” online are published by sites paid by the companies they rank, and few of them say how much that matters. Many repeat each other’s numbers without a source.

We built this site to do it differently. Every fee, minimum, rating and legal record here links to where we found it and the date we checked. Where a company doesn’t publish something, we say so. Two of the companies we cover, Goldco and Augusta Precious Metals, pay us, and we say how, and how it affects the ranking, on our affiliate disclosure.

Who we are

This site is published by Lead Partner, a company registered in Norway (org. no. 926 580 094).

We are not a financial adviser, broker-dealer, custodian or precious-metals dealer. We don’t sell metal or open accounts.

How we work

Our research process is on the methodology page. Our standards on sourcing, risk, independence and corrections are in our editorial policy.

Our view of gold

Gold can fall in price for long stretches, pays no income, and in an IRA carries custodian and storage fees that many other IRA holdings don’t. We’d rather you decide not to buy than buy something you don’t understand.
